'AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE': CNN Blasted for Downplaying NYC Terrorists as 'Pennsylvania Teenagers' — 'The Worst Post Ever'

Prominent conservative voices unloaded on CNN Tuesday morning after the failing news organization posted a story on X describing the terrorists who dropped an IED at an NYC protest as “Pennsylvania teenagers.”

This was just the latest example of the left downplaying violence when it doesn’t fit their narrative.

“Two Pennsylvania teenagers crossed into New York City Saturday morning for what could’ve been a normal day of enjoying the city during abnormally warm weather. But in less than an hour, their lives would drastically change,” the news outlet wrote, drawing fire on X.

“Every CNN employee who participated in writing, approving, and posting this needs to be terminated. An absolute disgrace to the field of journalism,” the account Stop Antisemitism wrote.

“This, new this morning, might be the worst post ever sent on X,” wrote Brent Scher, EIC at The Daily Wire.

“Some of the media headlines that have been coming out of this attempted ISIS terror attack are wild,” wrote Fox News’ Bill Melugin.

“CNN is a joke,” Tara Bull.

“CNN shamelessly tries to make it seem like the ‘ teenagers’ who threw the homemade bombs in NYC were anti-Muslim when in reality they were radical ISIS-inspired Islamic terrorists,” another user wrote.

 

“Wow. ISIS-inspired perpetrators commit a literal terrorist act, and this is what CNN comes up with? Oh, those poor ‘Pennsylvania teenagers,’ whose lives have ‘drastically changed’ because they made the conscious decision to throw bombs. When will the media stop employing narrative storytelling to infantilize perpetrators of ideologically motivated crimes?” wrote watchdog Honest Reporting.
