Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe stopped by Fox & Friends to discuss President Biden’s recent trip to Florida in an attempt to drum up excitement for Democratic candidates Val Demings and Charlie Crist —who are losing by double-digit margins to opponents Marco Rubio and Ron DeSantis, respectively.
“Florida is now a red state —and that’s a testament to Governor Ron DeSantis and the Republican Party of Florida, as well,” Boothe tells Fox & Friends. “Governor DeSantis could win Miami-Dade County,” Boothe adds later in the interview. “For the first time in 20 years, a Republican could win Miami-Dade…[it’s] a testament to Ron DeSantis and really holding the fort down and making [Florida] a place of freedom.”
