President Trump denied reports that he’s looking for a cease-fire deal between Israel and Iran while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One this week. Trump clarified that he’s looking for a “real end” and a surrender from Iran.
“I’m not asking for a cease-fire, we’re looking at better than a cease-fire,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One after departing the G7 summit in Canada.
Trump clarified he wants to see “an end, a real end, not a cease-fire” and called for a “complete give-up” on Iran’s end.
Trump also denied contacting Iran to discuss peace talks after French President Emmanuel Macron reported that Trump reached out.
“I have not reached out to Iran for ‘Peace Talks’ in any way, shape, or form. This is just more HIGHLY FABRICATED, FAKE NEWS!” he raged on TRUTH Social Monday night.
“If they want to talk, they know how to reach me. They should have taken the deal that was on the table – Would have saved a lot of lives!!!”
