During Monday’s White House Easter egg roll event, Today show anchor Al Roker asked President Biden about his 2024 plans; he isn’t quite ready to announce, only he really just did.
But first, he spouted some complete nonsense.
“Well, I’ll either, I’ll eith—I’ll either be rolling egg or, uh, being the, the gu—you know, the guy who’s pushing them out,” Biden answered initially.

“I plan on running, Al, but we’re not prepared to announce it yet,” Biden, 80, said in an interview with “Today” show meteorologist Al Roker ahead of the White House Easter Egg Roll.
Biden already is the oldest-ever president and would be 86 if he completes a full second term in 2029 — nearly 21 years over his age cohort’s threshold for full Social Security retirement benefits.
The president has repeatedly said he “intends” to run, but his advanced age and questions about his mental acuity have led to doubts among fellow Democrats.
