According to a report fromĀ Breitbart News, former South Carolina Governor and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley spent 76 million dollars losing contests in Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. In all cases, she lost by significant margins to Donald Trump.

The wasteful spending in the first four primaries of the 2024 cycle is money not spent targeting President Joe Biden.
The money also shows how strong Trumpās grassroots support is around the nation.
Despite being blown out in four consecutive primary races, Haley claims she will not drop out of the race until Super Tuesday, March 5.
Below are the funds spent by political action committees and her campaign in the first three contests:
- Michigan: $937,000
- South Carolina:Ā $8.4 million
- New Hampshire:Ā $31 million
- Iowa:Ā $37 million
The spending habits from state-to-state indicate Haleyās waning ability to stay in the race.Ā Haley and her super PAC only hadĀ $15 million cashĀ on hand at the end of January, according to Federal Election Commission filings.
