Doomed Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton spent the one-year anniversary of her historic defeat to Donald Trump cracking jokes on late-night television; bizarrely stating that her election loss “created jobs” in the alcohol industry and equating NFL protesters with her 2016 campaign.
The former Secretary of State stopped-by NBC’s ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to help the liberal late-night host with a segment called “Jokes Seth Can’t Tell,” where the comedian sets-up a joke that he’s unable to finish because he’s a “straight, white male.”
“According to a recent article, chardonnay is making a comeback,” said Meyers, waiting for Clinton to deliver the punchline.
“And they said I wouldn’t be able to create jobs,” added Clinton as the audience politely laughed.
“Here’s another one: the retractable roof on Atlanta’s NFL stadium is not working properly,” said the late-night host.
“Oh Well at least that ceiling’s broken,” said Clinton, referring to the “glass ceiling” she hoped to break in becoming the first woman President of the United States.
