Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night, Sean called-out republican lawmakers over their inability to advance the President’s agenda; urging GOP legislators to keep their promises and “get moving” on healthcare reform.
“GOP Senators have until September 30th to keep their word and kill off Obamacare or they’re going to face consequences at the ballot box in 2018,” said Hannity. “Senators Lindsey Graham, Bill Cassidy, they offered up an amendment that’s gaining momentum, and Republicans in my opinion –albeit imperfect- they need to seize this opportunity.”
Sean then slammed GOP lawmakers in the House and Senate who “clearly had no intention” of upending Obamacare, despite dozens of phony show-votes.
“We learned a lot about Republicans in this process, about 100 in the House and seven in the Senate, they clearly had no intention of ever really repealing and replacing Obamacare,” said Hannity. “Now the question is: Can we begin the process of making healthcare better for you, the American people.”
“Republicans, they need to get moving, they need to start keeping their promises. We on this program, we will continue to hold them accountable until it gets done, and ultimately gets done right,” he added.
