“Parents were not being listened to,” said Seppy.
The 19-year-old won 4,000 votes compared to the incumbent’s 2,800.

“Seppy said the COVID-19 rules at Egg Harbor Township High School were ‘awful’ and affected about three-quarters of his senior year, and he disliked the ‘hybrid’ approach of remote learning mixed with some days of in-person classes,” reports Fox News.

“When he takes his seat on the board, Seppy says, he plans to push for more vocational training for students and expand education in civics to help prepare students for both jobs and active citizenship,” adds Fox.
“It is my intention to serve with the upmost integrity when making decisions on behalf of the public and the staff to make a more prosperous and safer district,” Seppy said in a statement to the Press of Atlantic City before the vote.

BREAKING: NJ Truck Driver Who Spent $153 on Campaign Leads Longtime Dem State Senate President
A Republican truck driver in New Jersey who spent $153 on his entire campaign is on track to defeat 11-year incumbent Democrat Senate President Steve Sweeney; a crippling blow to progressives across the Garden State.
“I didn’t beat him. We beat him,” 62-year-old Ed Durr said on “Fox News Primetime” late Wednesday. “The state of New Jersey, the people of New Jersey beat him. They listened to what I had to say and I listened to what they had to say, and it’s a repudiation of Governor Murphy [who] went and locked us down and ignored the people’s voice and senator Sweeney chose to do nothing for those 18 months.”
Stunning Upset: A truck driver is on the verge of defeating the longtime New Jersey Senate president – despite spending almost nothing on his campaign. Ed Durr's reaction: "I didn't beat him, We beat him"
