Disgraced former FBI director James Comey found himself in hot-water with longtime Clinton insiders Tuesday; with the former Secretary of State’s spokesperson blasting the bureau boss for “making a public spectacle” before the American people.
Clinton’s former Communications Director Nick Merrill didn’t mince words when commenting on Comey’s recent “tell all” memoir on social media; saying “none of this adds up” and the FBI was now “trying to repair the damage to their reputation.”
“He made a public spectacle of the conclusion of the email investigation, breaking with Department norms, calling into question the integrity of the process. It did nothing to quiet the Trump campaign from accusing the FBI of bias & did everything to make Americans feel uneasy,” he tweeted.

None of this adds up. And writing about it now is going to do no favors for the FBI & DOJ, currently in the fight of their lives trying to repair the damage to their reputation.

Lanny Davis, another Clinton insider blasted Comey Monday, saying he was intentionally “lying” when he claimed politics played a role in FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
“He’s now lying on all his television interviews … when he says he was obligated to do so because he promised Congress,” he said.

COMEY CONFUSION: Former FBI Boss Told Congress FLYNN DIDN’T LIE to Bureau
While Robert Mueller’s never-ending Trump investigation continues to spiral out of control, recent information is shedding new light on former advisor Michael Flynn’s testimony; with inside sources saying James Comey told Congressional leaders the bureau didn’t believe Flynn intentionally lied.
According to the Washington Examiner, “two sources” with inside knowledge of both Flynn’s conversations with the FBI as well as Comey’s testimony to Congress claim the former FBI chief told investigators that the bureau “did not believe” Flynn had either lied or was intentionally lying while speaking with agents.
“According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview,” writes the Examiner.
Despite Comey’s assertions, Robert Mueller charged Flynn approximately nine months later with intentionally making false statements to the FBI during his January 24th questioning.
The revelation raises serious questions over why Flynn was charged, and whether Robert Mueller’s ongoing witch hunt is desperately searching for inroads into President Trump’s inner-circle.

COMEY’S REVENGE: Former FBI Chief Claims Memo ‘DESTROYED TRUST’ with Intel Community
Former Director of the FBI James Comey weighed-in on the controversial FISA memo released by the House Intelligence Committee Friday afternoon, blasting the document as “dishonest and misleading” and falsely claiming it “exposed” a classified investigation.
The former bureau chief -who was fired by President Trump last year for his botched investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server- posted his comments on social media within minutes of the document’s disclosure.
“That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs,” Comey tweeted.

While Comey may found the memo’s revelations “boring,” the explosive document shows the FBI and Department of Justice used the debunked ‘Trump Dossier’ to secure FISA court warrants against “at least one member” of the Trump campaign during the run-up to the 2016 election.
