President Trump will hold a press conference Wednesday before departing France, where he has spent the week attending the G7 summit.
The president is expected to face questions about the proposed memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the Iran conflict, a 14-point framework that has drawn criticism from some of Trump’s own allies.
Appearing alongside Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi earlier Wednesday, Trump stressed that the agreement is not yet finalized and warned that military action could resume if Iran fails to comply with its commitments.
“The MOU is not final,” Trump said, adding that the United States would not hesitate to resume bombing operations if Iran does not “behave.”
