Federal prosecutors have charged 15 alleged members of an Antifa-linked activist network with participating in a conspiracy to obstruct federal immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota announced Tuesday that the defendants are accused of working together to impede federal officers, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, through intimidation, force, threats and coordinated disruption efforts.
According to a 94-page criminal complaint, 12 of the 15 defendants are already in custody.
Prosecutors allege the suspects were affiliated with the Direct Action Minnesota Network, known as DAMN, a far-left activist group that authorities say organized campaigns targeting federal immigration officers operating in and around Minneapolis.
Federal investigators contend the group used encrypted Signal chats to coordinate rapid-response actions aimed at interfering with immigration enforcement activities. Those efforts allegedly included blocking streets, tracking federal vehicles, surveilling the ICE field office located in Minneapolis’ Whipple Building and relaying intelligence about officers’ movements.
According to the indictment, DAMN functioned as a central hub where participants shared information, recruited volunteers, assigned operational roles and planned actions designed to hinder immigration enforcement.
The most serious allegations involve Isaac Auman Sant, whom prosecutors describe as one of the conspiracy’s key organizers.
Authorities allege Sant coordinated meetings among anti-ICE activists, distributed shields and other equipment for so-called “direct actions,” maintained a database of suspected federal immigration vehicles using license plate information and organized volunteers to follow immigration officers.
On May 4, prosecutors say Sant personally followed a federal immigration officer from Minneapolis into neighboring Wisconsin, resulting in an interstate stalking charge.
Several defendants face additional charges beyond conspiracy.
Kyle Wagner is charged with solicitation of violence and interstate threats. William Morgan faces charges including interstate stalking, assault on a federal officer and destruction of government property. Natasha Rakotz is accused of assaulting a federal officer resulting in bodily injury and using a dangerous weapon.
The charges represent one of the largest federal cases brought against alleged anti-ICE activists in recent years and come amid heightened tensions surrounding immigration enforcement operations nationwide.
