Police and firefighters responded to the scene near Broadway and Stone Street around 5:42 p.m., according to the New York City Fire Department.

The fire proved stubborn, taking nearly 90 minutes to fully bring under control, sources told The Post.

Despite the frightening scene, authorities said there were no reported injuries.

Officials have not indicated the fire was suspicious, though the cause remains under investigation.
