25TH AMENDMENT FEVER: Delusional Dems Float Removal—Jeffries Fans The Flames: Report

Not a snowball’s chance…

According to a Fox News report, House Democrats are reviving talk of the 25th Amendment, and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries isn’t exactly shutting it down. In fact, he’s leaning in.

Jeffries scheduled a closed-door caucus briefing on the 25th Amendment for Friday, led by Jamie Raskin and House Judiciary Democrats, fueling speculation that what was once fringe chatter is now getting a formal hearing.

The move comes just as President Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran—an outcome administration officials touted as a win following Operation Epic Fury.

Jeffries, however, went on offense.

In a “Dear Colleague” letter, he blasted Trump’s rhetoric as dangerous, accusing the president of threatening to wipe out Iran’s “civilization” and pledging to “unleash maximum pressure” on Republicans to stop him.

But here’s the tell: Jeffries hasn’t actually called for removal. Instead, he’s walking a political tightrope — allowing the conversation to grow while stopping just short of owning it.

Meanwhile, members of his caucus are saying the quiet part out loud.

“It’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment,” said Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

“He’s out of control,” added Rep. Robert Garcia. “He must be removed.”

Invoking the 25th Amendment isn’t impeachment — it’s far harder and has never been used to forcibly remove a sitting president. It would require Vice President JD Vance and a majority of Trump’s Cabinet to declare him unfit.

If Trump contested that — which he almost certainly would — Congress would then need a two-thirds vote in both chambers to back it up.

In other words: politically explosive, procedurally uphill, and virtually impossible without Republican support.

Which raises the real question.

Is this a serious constitutional push — or just political theater?

We know the answer.
