During Thursday night’s Hannity town hall event with New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, one audience member’s question prompted the GOP hopeful to discuss his “day-one” priorities — and to rattle off a few policies that have “screwed” the state.
“One of the reasons I’m a proud Republican is we’ve always been the party of ideas and the party of solutions,” Ciattarelli said Thursday night. “I’ve given very specific proposals on how to address the property tax crisis, income tax crisis, public safety crisis, public housing crisis, education crisis — all across the board.”
Soon after, one audience member asked Ciattarelli about his “day-one” ideas and solutions.
“Executive action number one: no sanctuary cities, no sanctuary state. Executive order number two, we’re bringing back to work our state workers — they’ll be more customer-focused and there for you. And executive order number three, we’re pulling out of RGGI — the carbon tax policy has screwed New Jersey.”
