'GENUINE THREAT': Colombia's President Talks About Getting Rid of Trump as Drug War Intensifies [WATCH]

Colombia’s socialist president just crossed a line.

In a stunning interview, Colombian President Gustavo Petro openly mused about getting “rid of” President Donald Trump — as tensions rise over Trump’s latest crackdown on South American drug cartels.

The comments came after President Trump vowed to shut down the “killing fields” in Colombia and cut U.S. subsidies to the nation, following Petro’s false accusation that the U.S. committed “murder” in a September 15 strike on an alleged drug boat.

“Humanity has a first offramp, it is to choose to change Trump in various ways,” Petro told Univision’s Daniel Coronell. “The easiest way may be through Trump himself. If not — get rid of Trump,” he said, snapping his fingers for emphasis.

When pressed, Petro denied that his goal was to “change Trump,” insisting instead that Colombia “belongs to the people” and not a “king.”

“Trump said: ‘Colombia is out of control.’ Of course, it is out of his control,” Petro sneered. “He is not a king in Colombia; we do not accept kings here, period.”

Trump’s allies blasted the remarks as reckless and dangerous, pointing out that Petro’s government has lost control of key regions to narcoterrorists and cartels.

Florida Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R) shared the clip on X, calling Petro a “genuine threat to the safety & security of our hemisphere.”
