What a takedown.
A protester sprinted onto the Tour de France course Wednesday to object to an Israeli team’s participation — but a security guard quickly shut him down.
The guard tackled the man, slammed him into a barrier, and hurled him over the wall into a packed crowd just steps from the finish line.
The chaos unfolded 25 meters from the end as Norway’s Jonas Abrahamsen edged out Switzerland’s Mauro Schmid to win Stage 11 of the race.
