Shortly following an electric speech on the RNC floor, former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke with Sean Hannity about the mood at the event; “This environment here is about unity across the country,” Ramaswamy told the Fox News host.
Ramaswamy also compared the 2024 RNC and the energy surrounding Reagan’s America.
“We’re all unified in common purpose and I think we’re going to save this country an do what Reagan did in the 1980s,” Ramaswamy said.

Ramaswamy delivered a speech of his own earlier in the evening where he suggested that being conservative is now a part of the counter-culture.
“Our message to Gen Z is this: You’re going to be the generation that actually saves this country. You want to be a rebel? You want to be a hippie? You want to stick it to the man? Show up on your college campus, and try calling yourself a conservative. Say you want to get married, have kids. Teach them to believe in God and pledge allegiance to their country.”
