On Thursday, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked President Biden about the recent CNN and New York Times polls showing Biden trailing 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump in key battleground states.
“Why do you think it is that you’re trialing Trump in all these swing state polls?” Doocy asks.
“Because you don’t read the polls…there are ten polls! Eight of them I’m beating him in those states. You only do two —CNN and New York Times. Check it out. Check it out. We’ll get you copies of all those polls,” Biden responded.
“You don’t believe you’re trialing in battleground states?” another reporter asks Biden.
“No, I don’t.”
