WAIT, WHAT? Southern Poverty Law Center Says 'Anti-Blackness' Killed Man who Choked a Cop [GRAPHIC CONTENT]

A man was shot and killed during a traffic stop that turned violent in Camden County, Georgia recently. The Southern Poverty Law Center is claiming the man was a victim of “anti-Blackness.”

This is despite the fact that the man resisted arrest, instead opting to choke the cop out while saying “yeah b—tch” in the officer’s face.

The cop tried to use his stun gun first, then his baton, and finally was forced to use his pistol to subdue the man who was pulled over for driving recklessly at 100mph.

SPLC said it was “saddened” by the man’s death and blamed “anti-Blackness”; the post was flagged by community notes who explained what actually happened.

“SPLC is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Leonard Cure in Camden County, GA. We urgently call for a transformation in policing that honors every individual’s rights. The ongoing anti-Blackness in policing must end. Every leader must act for justice and accountability.”
