SETTING EXPECTATIONS: Cocaine Culprit Unlikely to Be Found, Law Enforcement Official Says

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.05.23

According to one law enforcement official familiar with the matter, the person who brought the cocaine into the White House may never be found; “People walk by there all the time,” he says.

“It’s gonna be very difficult for us to [find them] because of where it was” an official, who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed.

“Even if there were surveillance cameras, unless you were waving it around, it may not have been caught…It’s a bit of a thoroughfare. People walk by there all the time.”

From Politico:

A uniformed division officer of the Secret Service found the cocaine on Sunday night around 6 p.m. Since the officer didn’t know what the substance was, the security posture at the White House was temporarily escalated. The D.C. Fire Department was called, and the material was deemed non-hazardous and sent to a central lab for additional testing.

The Secret Service is leading the investigation, with the FBI assisting.

A lab has now administered a formal test on the substance, confirming that it is cocaine.
