Joe goes lower.
According to a new Quinnipiac poll, President Biden has hit an all-time low approval rating: 31%. The poll, released Wednesday, also found that only 40% of Democrats want to see Joe run for reelection in 2024.
54% of Democrats don’t want Joe to be the nominee.
Across the aisle, nearly 7 in 10 Republicans want former President Donald Trump to run again, continuing a streak of strong polling numbers for the former Presid. “Trump still holds sway on his base, President Biden is underwater when it comes to support from his own party,” says Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.
The Quinnipac University poll was conducted July 14-18, 2022 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
