BOEBERT FIRED UP: ‘When Biden Said Flag Draped Coffins, I Couldn't Stay Silent’

One of the most talked about moments from President Biden’s State of the Union address was Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) calling Joe out on the consequences of his failed withdrawal in Afghanistan —a withdrawal that killed 13 U.S. service members.

And they came home, many of the world’s fittest and best trained warriors in the world, never the same. Headaches. Numbness. Dizziness. A cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin,” Biden said, discussing members of the U.S. Military.

At the mention of “flag-draped coffin,” Boebert exclaimed “You put them in, 13 of them.”

The Colorado Rep defended her actions on Twitter after the SOTU:

“When Biden said flag draped coffins I couldn’t stay silent. I told him directly he did it. He put 13 in there. Our heroic servicemen and women deserve so much better.”

She followed up with another Tweet Wednesday morning:

“The left is pissed because I called out Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 of America’s finest in a flag-draped coffin. They are mad because a speech was ‘interrupted.’

Ask the the families who lost their loved ones how interrupted their lives are now.”
