Sen. Bernie Moreno just went nuclear on Dr. Anthony Fauci — and America is eating it up.
In a blistering Senate hearing Wednesday, the Ohio Republican unloaded on the longtime COVID czar over the lockdown policies that led to a mom getting tased and arrested just for watching her kid’s football game… outdoors.
“Who the F–K do you think you were for doing that?!” Moreno thundered, staring down Fauci. “It is a total DISGRACE what you did to this country. My Democrat colleagues are standing there defending you?”
The senator recounted the September 2020 nightmare in Logan, Ohio: Mom Alecia Kitts drove more than an hour to see her son play middle-school football. She sat outside with her family, far from the crowd, no mask. Cops still hauled her out, tased her in front of her kids, and slapped her with trespassing charges.
Moreno made it personal.
“When that story broke, I said to myself, I cannot stand idly by… It was about six years ago today that I decided I’m going to give up my businesses, sell them all, run for office… Here I am, sitting in front of you six years later, saying, who the fuck do you think you were for doing that?”
Fauci’s response? He took the Fifth.
