White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will brief reporters Thursday afternoon just hours before President Trump delivers a highly anticipated national address, setting up a two-part communications blitz on a day packed with questions about election integrity, Iran and immigration enforcement.
The White House has not fully revealed what Trump plans to announce from the presidential podium. The president, however, has recently floated voting machines and election integrity as possible subjects.
That guarantees Leavitt will face pressure to offer a preview.
The event marks Leavitt’s first briefing since she returned from maternity leave.
