CTRL+ALT+DEFEAT: Blakeman Deploys AI Hochul in Latest Campaign Offensive [WATCH]

Bruce Blakeman is taking his campaign against Gov. Kathy Hochul into the AI era.

The Nassau County executive released a minute-long campaign ad Tuesday featuring an artificial intelligence version of Hochul delivering a satirical “confession” about policies Blakeman blames for New York’s affordability, crime and immigration challenges.

“This is what Kathy Hochul’s New York really looks like,” Blakeman wrote on X while sharing the video. He paired the post with a pledge to cut taxes, restore cash bail and make New York “safe and affordable again.”

The spot doesn’t try to hide what it is.

An AI-generated Hochul walks through digitally created scenes modeled after familiar New York settings while making fictional statements that reflect Blakeman’s criticisms of her administration. Throughout the ad, the AI version of the governor speaks in the first person as part of the campaign’s satirical premise.

One sequence shows the AI-Hochul standing inside a computer-generated hotel lobby filled with immigrants waiting to check in.

“We provided luxury accommodations for illegal migrants in beautiful hotels just like this,” the AI version says.

The ad then shifts to taxes and government spending.

“And we raised taxes by $8 billion for the programs that matter, like free healthcare for sex workers, and lucrative no-bid contracts to the politically connected,” the AI character says while walking through a digitally generated city park lined with homeless people.

Energy policy gets similar treatment.

Appearing among rows of wind turbines before transitioning to a formal donor reception, the AI-Hochul says, “Thanks to our hard work, we’re leading the nation giving foreign companies energy contracts, which means your energy bills go up, but I get invited to all the best donor dinners now.”

The video also takes aim at transportation costs and New York’s bail laws.

“We’ve raised tolls and fares more than 20 times, because the best way to fix traffic is to ensure regular people can’t afford to drive or take the subway,” the AI version says.

Moments later, while standing outside a computer-generated NYPD precinct, the AI character says, “And we ended cash bail so that we would stop punishing people who commit brutal crimes against fellow New Yorkers, like this nice young man.”

The tattooed man she gestures toward then delivers what is likely the ad’s most memorable punchline.

“Want some crack?”

The commercial closes with one final jab.

As the AI-Hochul walks down a New York City block, she tells voters, “This November, don’t let Bruce Blakeman lower your taxes or make New York safe. Keep it unsafe and unaffordable with Kathy Hochul as your governor.”

The final image displays a mock campaign sign reading: “Criminals, Cronies, and Illegal Immigrants for Hochul.”
