President Donald Trump received a ceremonial escort from horseback riders portraying Theodore Roosevelt’s Rough Riders as his motorcade traveled to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, on Wednesday.
Trump arrived in the area via the new Air Force One, followed by a Marine One helicopter flight and a ceremonial Freedom 250 train into Medora.
He became the first official visitor to the new library, participated in a dedication ceremony that included a ribbon-cutting with Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and presented the Medal of Honor awarded to Roosevelt by Congress as a gift to the facility.
