WATCH: Ilhan Omar Says GOP Must Fight ‘Anti-Muslim Hatred in Its Ranks’

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.01.21

Controversial Congresswoman Ilhan Omar addressed the media Tuesday night; saying the Republican Party must do more to confront “anti-Muslim hatred” among its members.

“It is time for the Republican Party to actually do something—to confront anti-Muslim hatred in its ranks and hold those who perpetuate it accountable,” said the progressive politician.

“To date, the Republican Party leadership has done nothing,” she added.

Former President Donald Trump released a scathing statement Tuesday regarding Congresswoman Ilhan Omar; blasting the ‘Squad Member’ for her anti-American and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

“Congresswoman Ilhan Omar should apologize for marrying her brother, committing large-scale immigration and election fraud, wishing death to Israel, and for essentially abandoning her former country, which doesn’t even have a government,” posted Mr. Trump. “Exactly what she’d like to see for the United States.”

OMAR ERUPTS AGAIN: Ilhan Omar Claims Israel Denying ‘Freedom’ to Millions, Mocks Their ‘Democracy’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.20.19

Embattled Rep. Ilhan Omar continued to escalate her fiery rhetoric against Israel this week; saying their government is denying “freedom” to millions of Palestinians while mocking the Jewish State’s “Democracy.”

“We in the United States have a constructive role to play. We give Israel more than $3 billion in aid every year. This is predicated on them being an important ally in the region, and the ‘only democracy’ in the Middle East,” mocked Omar.

“We must be asking, as Israel’s ally, the Netanyahu government stop the expansion of settlements on Palestinian land and ensure full rights for Palestinians if we are to give them aid,” she added.

Omar posted a massive, anti-Israeli tirade on social media Friday, just hours after she was denied entry into the Jewish State for her outspoken support of multiple boycott initiatives.

“Let’s be clear: the goal of our trip was to witness firsthand what is happening on the ground in Palestine and hear from stakeholders —our job as Members of Congress. But since we were unable to fulfill our role as legislators, I am sharing what we would have seen,” she posted on Twitter. “First, I planned to hold meetings with members of the Knesset (both Jewish and Arab) along with Israeli security officials.”

“The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is one of the worst in the world—with 97% of water unfit for human consumption and on the verge of collapse. Most of the people in Gaza are children,” she added. “77% of shops have closed bc of military occupation. Palestinians walk with garbage nets above their heads, put up to catch trash thrown by settlers. Violent attacks on Palestinians are routine.”

OMAR ERUPTS AGAIN: Ilhan Omar Retweets Post BLASTING John McCain, 'Faux Outrage'

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.08.19

Embattled Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar doubled-down on her recent anti-Semitic Twitter tirade Friday; retweeting a post that bizarrely blasted John McCain for his position on Iran and called his daughter’s response to her racist rhetoric “faux outrage.”

Omar retweeted a post Friday morning that stated, “Meghan’s late father literally sang ‘bomb bomb bomb Iran’ and insisted on referring to his Vietnamese captors as ‘g**ks.’ He also, lest we forget, gave the world Sarah Palin. So a little less faux outrage over a former refugee-turned-freshman-respresenative pls.”

“[Ilhan Omar] retweeting trash like this is beneath a sitting member of Congress, as is her blatantly anti-Semitic rhetoric. The Democratic Party looking the other way only helps Trump’s re-election efforts in 2020,” posted McCain.

“The retweet came just hours after the House approved an anti-hate resolution inspired by Omar’s remarks. The vote prompted backlash from younger and more progressive Democrats and a debate over the language used in the resolution,” adds Newsweek.
