NYC FALLOUT: ICE Director Says De Blasio Needs to ‘Own’ Murder of 92-Year-Old by Illegal Immigrant

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.20.20

The Acting Director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency ripped New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Sanctuary City policies this week; saying he needs to “own” the crimes brought about by his immigration proposals.

“The policies of the mayor make this city less safe,” said acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Matthew Albence.“If you’re going to have a sanctuary city policy, just own it.”

“We wanted him three months ago before he did this,” Albence said. “If we had been able to cooperate with the NYPD, Maria Fuentes would be alive today.”

New York City’s ‘Sanctuary City’ policies came under fire from countless residents this week after an illegal immigrant -recently released by the NYPD- allegedly sexually assaulted then murdered a 92-year-old victim.

“New York City’s sanctuary city policy is again under fire after an illegal immigrant, who was released from NYPD custody in November despite a plea from federal immigration officials to hold him, is alleged to have gone on to sexually assault and murder a 92-year-old woman,” reports Fox News.

“There has been a complete breakdown of law & order in New York City,” Acting Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf tweeted Wednesday. “NYC proudly passed sanctuary city laws & bragged about it for months. But now they, & more importantly, the citizens of NYC are facing the deadly consequences of the sanctuary policies.”

“New York City’s sanctuary policies continue to threaten the safety of all residents of the five boroughs, as they repeatedly protect criminal aliens who show little regard for the laws of this nation,” said the ICE field office Director. “In New York City alone, hundreds of arrestees are released each month with pending charges and/or convictions to return back into the communities where they committed their crimes, instead of being transferred into the custody of ICE.”

WORST MAYOR EVER: Bill de Blasio ‘Registers ZERO Support’ in Latest New York Presidential Poll

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.18.19

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s presidential campaign went from bad to worse this week; with a new poll showing the far-left leader registering “zero” support from voters across the state.

“De Blasio is registered as having ‘0’ support from Big Apple Democrats in a Siena College poll on the presidential primary in New York State,” reports the New York Post. “De Blasio also registered zero support from union households, blacks and Hispanics statewide, according to the cross-tabs in the Siena survey.”

Of the 359 Democrats surveyed, just one picked De Blasio as their favorite candidate.

De Blasio’s administration irked parents across the five boroughs this week after announcing school officials are permitting students to ditch class to protest ‘Climate Change.’

“.@NYCschools will excuse absences of students participating in the #ClimateStrike on Friday 9/20. Students will need parental consent. Younger students can only leave school with a parent,” posted the school district’s official Twitter account.

“Youth strike advocates Fridays for Future said more than 2400 events were taking place from Sept. 20 through Sept. 27 to coincide with the UN climate summit on Sept. 23, where Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is due to make an address,” reports Axios.

WORST MAYOR EVER: Records Show Bill De Blasio Logged 7 HOURS OF WORK at City Hall in 1 MONTH

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.03.19

Recently released records show New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio logged just seven hours of work at City Hall the same month he announced his entry into the 2020 race for the White House.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio spent a mere seven hours — less than one full workday — at City Hall during the month he launched his bid for the White House, records reviewed by The Post show,” reports the New York Post. “Hizzoner showed up at his office on just six occasions in May, taking part in two meetings, four events and five phone calls, one of which was his weekly appearance on WNYC radio.”

“The 11 appointments amounted to a meager one-fifth of the 50 meetings, calls and other events at City Hall on de Blasio’s calendar for May 2018. He had a total 152 city events scheduled for the month,” adds the Post.

“If he’s trying to show New Yorkers that he’s over doing the job, he’s doing a good job of it,” said a former staffer.

Bill de Blasio addressed a crowd of just 15 people in Cedar Rapids, Iowa last month; discussing a range of issues from immigration to his plans on raising taxes for wealthy Americans.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio pitched his presidential dreams to a crowd of about 15 likely Democratic voters at an event Sunday morning in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,” reports the New York Post. “With more than enough empty space to accommodate his 6-foot-5 frame, the quixotic candidate took the floor at Parlor City Pub to a smattering of applause from the sleepy brunch set.”

“Everything should be about our families, our lives, what everyday people are going through, what working people are going through,” De Blasio told a handful of attendees.

“If we as Democrats are talking about that, we’re winning,” he added. “Here’s the bottom line: We have a country that’s favored the 1 percent now for literally 40 years. The rich have gotten richer. Everybody else has been pretty much treading water.”
